Coverage
Approximately 150 to 200 sq.ft. per gallon. Coverage also depends on application method.
Surface Preperation
For new wood fences we recommend 4 to 6 weeks initial drying time once the build is completed, this allows for drying and wood shrinkage.
Weathered or previously stained fences must be washed with a Hypoclorite solution, this will remove mold and mildew on the wood surface.
Allow 24 hours to dry before sealing.
Precautions
Rags, steel wool or waste soaked with this formula may spontaneously catch fire if improperly discarded. Immediately after each use, place rags, steel wool or waste in a sealed water-filled metal container. Keep away from heat/sparks/flames/ignition sources. Do not smoke. Do not contaminate water, food or feed by storage or disposal. Avoid skin and eye contact. Provide fresh air ventilation during and after application and drying. If you experience eye watering, headaches, nausea, dizziness, or loss of coordination, increase fresh air, wear NIOSH -approved respiratory protection or leave the area.
First Aid
If swallowed, do not induce vomiting. Call your physician immediately. If skin/eye contact occurs, flush the affected areas with warm water for at least 15 minutes. Remove contact lenses. A mild soap may be used on the skin if available. If inhaled, remove from area to fresh air. If breathing is difficult, get medical attention immediately. Seek immediate emergency medical treatment if overexposed.
Storage & Disposal
Keep away from heat and flame. Completely close container after each use. Wastes resulting from this product's use may be disposed of at an approved waste disposal facility, or by other methods approved by state and local authorities.
Warning
Reports indicate that repeated and prolonged occupational overexposure to solvents may cause permanent brain and nervous system damage. Intentional misuse by concentrating and inhaling contents may be harmful or fatal.
